About Demir Valf
Demir Valf was founded in Istanbul in 1987 as a small casting and machining workshop. Today its plant in the Tuzla Organised Industrial Zone does body machining, assembly, coating and pressure testing under one roof.
Every valve is shell- and seat-tested to EN 12266-1 before shipment. Test records are kept by serial number and sent on request.
Most products go into water networks, building services, power plants and shipbuilding projects. For export orders, all documents are prepared in English.

Certificates and approvals
Pressure Equipment Directive (PED)
2014/68/EU
Valves classed as pressure equipment are designed to this directive and made under notified body supervision. For the buyer, the valve can legally enter the EU market, and the declaration of conformity ships with it.
CE marking
2014/68/EU
CE is not a certificate but the manufacturer's declaration. On these valves it is applied under the PED, together with the notified body number. Small valves that fall under Article 4.3 of the PED carry no CE marking.
TSE certificate
TS EN 1074
A product certificate from the Turkish Standards Institution, showing that the valve meets the standard for water supply valves. Often required in Turkish municipal and public tenders.
